Lesson 33 It is lovely to have Lovely over to stay!

Lovely has come to visit.

She is curled up next to me as I write this. She loves snuggling under a nice warm blanket.
She will be happy to see G, Rufus and Bert in a few days but for now she is having  a girls night in with me!
It is amazing how adaptable she has been this year. We brought her home in early August and a few days later she went with us on her first camping trip. She coped really well with that.
She has got used to our friends and shows real pleasure when people come to visit.
If you are thinking of offering a home to a dog then why not offer a rescue dog a home?
They are so rewarding!

Lesson 32 Dogs know how to appreciate things...

I have just had a lovely Christmas spent with the loveable G and the dogs. Dogs really know how to appreciate the small things. Their faces when they realised they were going to be given some left over food after our Christmas dinner....Now it is Boxing Day and we have just come back from a short walkies in the sunshine and they have just had their dinner. They look very happy indeed.
